Born in one of the remotest parts of Africa. Of course, no Television, no electricity or running water.
After studying Psychology at a local University l landed a Government job as a Customs officer, in the year 2000.
Fast forward, in 2011, l moved to Sweden with my family. But l couldn’t prata Svensika (speak Swedish). For English jobs, recruitment agencies preferred English native speakers.
That is how l ended up being a Tidningsbud – Newspaper Distributor in Stockholm, the capital city of Sweden.
The job was straight forward. Wake up at 1am. Collect your allocation of newspapers. Use an electronic register to deliver the correct newspaper into the correct letter box before 6am.
One day in 2013, the temperature reached -20 degrees. l quit the job.
Started online as a freelance on Elance which later merged with Odesk to form Upwork. After toiling for a few months and struggling to meet targets.
l got burnt out.
My breakthrough came when l stumbled upon a platform that offers free affiliate marketing training for beginners. The University also offers ALL the important tools required to get started with affiliate marketing. The live support by 800k + members is excellent.
Created my first website in May 2014. My writing sucked. l persevered. Took it from $0 to $1 500 per month in 2 years. Sold it for $38 479 on Empire Flippers.
The website was monitised through Amazon affiliate program, Google Adsense and other affiliate programs. You can check out the website’s detailed statistics such as number of articles published and number of visitors to the website inside the affiliate marketing Community. The post has attracted 234 comments to date.
I don’t claim to know every website that is a scam nor do l have all the answers. I still have a lot to learn, but I’m happy to share what I’ve discovered so far. .
Learning about affiliate marketing can be intimidating, complicated and confusing. Why not make it simpler by following a proven system to work over years. Which makes affiliate marketing fun and enjoyable.
You can get in touch by visiting my profile page. My user name is Online Geek – l used a happy face emoji and people liked it.
